Concept And Objectives
The School is a non-denominational, co-educational, full boarding, governement-approved Secondary School for the training and development of children in an atmosphere conducive for intellectual and moral upbringing.
The School curriculum is derived from the provisions of the National Policy on Education. In addition to WASSCE, the School also incorporates the Cambridge O'level, SAT and IELTS into its academic programs.
As a private initiative, the School is founded on entreprenuership principles subject to professional management and balancing of social and economic responsibilities.
The School's general goals and objectives include:
- To run a full co-educational boarding school system in highly hygienic and secured premises.
- To provide conducive learning environment in a well laid-out premises and adequately ventilated classrooms.
- To provide highly qualified and motivated teachers.
- To emphasize science and computer education.
- To build moral, faith, creativity and high imaginative thoughts in children.
- To provide individual and personal attention to the children.
- To provide opportunities for children to excel in arts and sports.
- To prepare children for excellent interpersonal relations, happy and constructive communal life, hardwork and responsible behaviour.
- To inculcate discipline and entrepreneurial instincts in children.
Foundation And Approval
The School was founded in the year 2001 and secured an approval from the Akwa Ibom State Government through the Ministry of Education in June 2002. Since its inception, the school has grown in leaps and bounds from a small take off population of 22 to its optimal student capacity of over 1000. This is supervised and managed by a very experienced and dedicated Management Team with a crop of highly dedicated Academic and Non-Academic Staff numbering over 500.
